Escape From City 17 – Part 1

This uber cool short movie is based on the Half-Life game (Sorry, no Gordon Freeman on this one). It’s directed by independent filmmakers and commercial directors the “Purchase Brothers” – what an awesome last name.

With all the beautifully rendered effects and flares, you’d think it’s a big budget film. But it’s not. Actually the first two episodes were made on a tight budget of $500. And yet they have produced a wonderful and amazing short film worthy of anyone’s attention. Uwe Boll should definitely learn from this guys.

Kudos to the Purchase brothers for such a remarkable film!
