Mario Kart Love Song

It’s an original song titled “Mario Kart Love Song” by singer-songwriter Mark.

It’s amazing! Nice voice. “Walu-walu-walu-waluigi…” was pretty funny though!

Who Will Smoke The Ashes Of Kurt Cobain?

Given the chance, would you smoke the ashes of Kurt Cobain?

Fuck. I would!

I will spread his ashes in a nice joint.

German artist Natascha Stellmach is reportedly claiming to be in possession of Kurt Cobain’s ashes and is threatening to smoke them as part of a morbid art exhibition.

The late Nirvana frontman’s cremated remains were reportedy stolen in May from his rocker widow Courtney Love along with thousands of dollars worth of jewelry.

Courtney claimed to be “suicidal” over the loss, saying at the time:

“I can’t believe anyone would take Kurt’s ashes from me. They were all I had left of my husband. Now it feels like I have lost him all over again.”

Stellmach says she has ‘acquired’ the ashes and has released a statement announcing her find and also detailed her plans to smoke the ashes as part of the forthcoming Set Me Free exhibition at the city’s Wagner and Partner gallery on 11 October.

But she won’t say how she came to be in possession of the remains telling Artworld magazine:

“That’s confidential and kind of magic. They came to me. And I am setting him free.”

Stellmach’s work comprises a “death cycle” of five pieces. The first, a suicide contemplation, titled It is Black in Here, is a sound piece. Written and read by the artist, it was recorded onto a specifically pressed record and is played on a vintage record player.

The six-minute poetic meditation on death’s proximity ends with the word ‘Gone’. Near Death Experience, is a text-based work where Kurt Cobain, Adolf Hitler, Diane Arbus and the Brothers Grimm meet in a twilight zone. Two more works, Black Scan and Untitled, build to the final work: Gone. In Gone, Stellmach presents a joint containing Cobain’s ashes, which is held in an antique case engraved with the work’s title (pictured above). Stellmach intends to smoke this joint in a secret Berlin location. This act, according to the artist, will release Cobain “into the ether from the media circus.”

For those of you who don’t know who Kurt Cobain is. You have a lot of catching up to do.

He is an icon. He is a legend. He is a demigod.

The Purpose

I first heard this song Everyday Is Exactly The Same (by Nine Inch Nails) in the “Wanted” movie, starring of course, the luscious Angelina Jolie. It was literally stuck in my head. Days later, I scoured the internet and found it!

The song just gave me this tingling feeling of euphoria, almost like I am about to come! Shit shit shit! The lyric is just inspiring. It talks about mediocrity, emotions and life’s cynicism. Its best suited for people who are suffering from catatonia. With the economy shitting globally….. need I say something more?

Ehemplo gave his piece and put the entire meaning of “purpose” to shame.

And so:

We jerk.

We play dead.

We bleed.

We need the speed.

We loose.

We gain.

We love and hate.

We turn around.

We procreate.

We die.

And for that, let me leave you with this: “Igitur Vita” (For this reason is Life)… Enjoy the song!
